The traders have faulted the Mwala sub county for failing in its mandate to clean the market something which they said is affecting their businesses.

Speaking to this writer, Business Community Association Chairman Brian Kalinga pointed out that the garbage has been lying there for a while and the foul smell from it is chasing away their customers.

"The garbage has been lying here for some weeks now and we've not seen anyone from the municipality taking concern and it is chasing away customers," said Mr Kalinga.

The residents now have issued an ultimatum of 7 days to the county government to take away the garbage failure to which they will stop paying revenue to the county government.
