Musyoka claimed some NASA politicians were pushing the police to arrest Raila in order to have bloodshed in the country.

Speaking to journalists  at Parliament Buildings in Nairobi on Thursday, Musyoka asked the president to look for alternative ways of dealing with the former Prime Minister.

Musyoka said NASA's agenda was to cause violence and turn the country into anarchy in case the opposition chief is arrested.

“We know what some NASA politicians want and we are advising the president and the police not to fall into their traps which is to force the government to arrest Railsa" Musyoka said.

The MP claimed NASA was running out of ideas arguing that the swearing in had flopped.

“They wanted to use Raila's inauguration to cause violence and blame it on police but they failed after the police were withdrawn from Uhuru Park,” Musyoka said.

Musyoka said the best way for the government to deal with Raila and his allies was to keep silent, adding that the former Prime Minister thrives on fear, anxiety and political confusion.

The MP, however,  lauded the ongoing crackdown on Raila's allies who planned and administered his oath as the People's President.

Musyoka said perpetrators of lawlessness must be dealt with according to the law.
