Mwala MP Engineer Vincent Musyoka has hit out at Kamba politician's criticizing Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua's Sh50 million roofing project.
Musyoka says that those castigating Mutua are 'enemies' of development.
Speaking to Mwala Town residents on Thursday, Musyoka asked governor Mutua to ignore his critics.
He said that some of the people fighting Mutua's development agenda have been in power for year's with nothing to show for.
"It is shameful that some politicians are castigating Governor Mutua instead of supporting him to achieve his development agenda," he said.
Musyoka said that time has come for politician's stop petty issues and serve Kenyans.
He said that Machakos residents have great confidence in governor Mutua's development agenda and leadership.
Governor Mutua has been under attacks and criticism over his Sh50 million roofing project launched on Wednesday last week.
A section of politicians has however questioned Mutua's project on grounds that it could be a scam.
The politicians are now calling for Mutua's probe.
On Monday, the Machakos governor defended his project stating that he will not listen to critics.
Mutua assured Machakos locals of his commitment to deliver on the development promises he made to them.
