A section of Mwala sub-county residents has expressed their concerns after the area member of the National Assembly Vincent Musyoka was named among the mute legislators in 2015 parliamentary sessions.
Musyoka is among 27 other Mps according to research which was done by Mzalendo Trust who have never spoken nor contributed anything in parliament for the last one year.
In an interview with some of Mwala residents from different parts of the sub-county they said that its a shock to them as they did not expect their trusted Mp to be among such members of the National Assembly.
"Personally, I trusted my Mp. I don't follow parliamentary sessions proceedings but I thought we were well represented," said one of the residents whose names could not be disclosed.
"Musyoka sounds like he does not deserve our votes again come 2017. He has done exemplary work in the sub-county but failure to represent us in parliament means that we might be forced to elect somebody else," said another resident.
They called upon him to hold meetings with people from different parts of the sub-county where they expect him to open up on the same before its too late.
