Residents in Mwala market woke up to a shocker during new year's eve after they encountered slaughtered Donkeys all over.

Some said the animals belonged to a disabled person man residing in the neighborhood, who greatly depended on them for daily bread.

They wondered how at least three Donkeys could be stolen and slaughtered only to be left after being skinned. The criminals however left with the skin.

Area village elder confirmed the incident and called for calm, as investigations go on to ascertain the persons behind the criminal act.
