Mwamba RFC are plotting to go for Impala Saracens scalp when the two sides meet in their Saturday's Kenya Cup clash.

According to head coach Kevin Wambua, Mwamba are banking on set-piece routines and defensive drills ahead of the tough tie.

Mwamba launched their season with a small 29-22 loss to Kabras Sugar due to poor defending and the coach says he is currently sealling the pores.

Last season, Impala beat Wambua's men 40-33 but the latter come into the clash with the confidence of having clobbered Regional Logistics CFS Mombasa 48-0 in their opening match.

“My boys did well against Kabras; we put into practice our line-outs but our set pieces and defence line was weak hence the results over the weekend.  We have tried to polish on that before we meet Impala,” Wambua said as quoted by Citizen Digital.

“Impala are a good side and our games are always worth lookingforward to. We are focused on polishing up on our mistakes; hopefully we will improve,” Wambua added.
