His remarks come after Kisii county deputy Governor Joash Maangi announced that the two movements have joined to work together with an aim of campaigning for Jubilee to win the next general election mostly in Kisii and Nyamira counties.

Ongeri told the press that he has experience in politics and he will show Kisii community where to vote in 2017 and he is a Jubilee member but not working with Kisii unity movement.

“Kisii unity movement was formed by some individuals who want to be reelected in 2017 and not for the community benefit and we also formed another movement called Mwanyagetinge Twensi (All kisii's) to unite the community and the two movements won’t join together," said Ongeri.

“I am a member of Jubilee but I won't work with Kisii Unity movement, those sentiments of Kisii county deputy governor Joash Maangi won’t match with me,” he added.
