Nominated lawmaker Isaac Mwaura has revealed why he decided to ditch ODM for newly formed Jubilee party.
While appearing before the ODM disciplinary committee, Mwaura said that he is planning to vie for a parliamentary in a constituency where the opposition outfit is not popular.
''I want to leave the party because i want to vie for Ruiru parliamentary seat and as you know, you cannot win the Ruiru seat on an ODM ticket," said Mwaura.
Mwaura is among the ODM 'rebels' who are being associated with the Jubilee party after years of loyalty to ODM party leader Raila Odinga.
He was also among the leaders from the opposition block who attended the Jubilee launch event last month.
The opposition outfit had moved to call upon all defectors to give reasons why their positions should not be declared vacant.
