Football Kenya Federation (FKF)  President, Nick Mwendwa, has promised to ensure SuperSport reneges on it's decision of terminating the airing of Kenya Premier League matches.

Mwendwa has said that two meetings have been scheduled with SuperSport next week in a bid to solve the stalemate.

“We look to remedy this situation. We are working on ways to bring Supersport back on board and avoid further losses to our game. We will be meeting with KPL on Monday to discuss this. A meeting with KPL clubs will follow afterwards,” said Mwendwa.

Mwendwa  has further dismissed reports that  FKF is planning of taking over the running of the league or bringing in an an alternative to Supersport.

“Let it be clear, at the moment, we haven't thought of bringing an alternative broadcaster. Its not discussion for now, “he said.
