Lawyers representing opposing parties in the Supreme Court petition challenging President Uhuru's re-election engaged in a hot exchange Wednesday morning over the scope of access to crucial documents at the IEBC.

Lawyer Ng'atia was opposed the petitioner being given too much access, asking the court to limit the number of those who would be present to 6 people.

Ndubi vehemently objected to Ng'atia's  view and made an impassioned case for why they needed at least 10 people.

Justice Philomena Mwilu's patience was first wearing thin and she was forced to jump in.

''I think this is preventing us from hearing the petition... What you will do with the access is your business... Mr. Ndubi what part of the order didn't you understand?'' Ms. Mwilu intervened visibly vexed by the trajectory the proceedings was taking.
