Mwingi Central MP Gideon Mulyungi has hit out at Orange Democratic (ODM) Party Raila Odinga and Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka for allegedly lying to Kenyans.
Mulyungi argues that Raila and Kalonzo are lying to NASA supporters when they claim that the coalition is united.
Speaking to journalists in Mwingi Town on Saturday, Mulyungi asked the NASA principal's to tell Kenyans and NASA supporters the truth.
He said that giving false and misleading hopes will not help quell the internal issues facing the NASA coalition.
Mulyungi said that NASA problems are seeable and that it is wrong for the principal's to continue claiming that they are together when they are not.
“Raila, Kalonzo, Mudavadi and Wetangula should stop this Public Relations tactics and call a spade a spade because we can see problems in the coalition,” he said.
Mulyungi said that Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula’s ouster on Tuesday last week exposed the serious issues rocking the NASA coalition.
He said that the ODM senators erred when they planned for Wetangula’s ouster without consulting the NASA summit.
Mulyungi said that NASA can only be saved if dissatisfied members are given space to walk out.
There have been claims of cracks in NASA even as the principals maintain that they are united.
On Saturday , Kalonzo said that they are still committed to electoral reforms and justice despite the issues being witnessed in the coalition.
A section of politicians allied to Wiper, ANC and Ford Kenya have been demanding for ODM’s eviction from the NASA coalition.
The politicians allege that Raila’s party is to blame for the internal issues rocking the NASA coalition.
