The one-and-a-half-month old baby who ‘came back to life’ on Saturday moments before being buried is now dead.
According to area chief Bendetta Musyoka, the infant died in hospital where she had been taken for treatment Saturday evening after her 'resurection'.
Musyoka said it was buried on Sunday.
On Saturday, mourners had assembled at the home to bury the infant but during the final dressing for burial, the women attending to it reported that the body temperature was rising, an indication of life.
The infant also coughed and came back to life, forcing some mourners to run away.
It was later taken to hospital for treatment, where it died in the evening and was finally laid to rest on Sunday.
