Mr Anayo was charged by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission together with former Speaker Anne Adul, former Assembly Majority Leader Samwel Ong’ow among others for ‘single-sourcing for a trips to China and Israel.

The High Court in Kisumu on Monday threw away the case over lack of sufficient evidence.

Anayo who has ambition to run for the Migori Gubernatorial seat in 2022 now claims the case was part of the ‘dirt in politics’ and that he has learnt a lesson from it.

The ruling is a relief to Anayo who had indicated that he has had to divide his attention between serving the people and attending to the case.

In his facebook wall, Anayo posted that: “AM FREE NOW. Finally My Anti-Corruption case that has been on for the last one year is over. I was charged among others for single sourcing for a trips to China and Israel, the court has ruled that the tendering wasn't single sourced,” read the post in part.

“Politics is a dirty game but am learning the tricks . This case was malicious and was politically instigated hence I knew it was headed nowhere Thanks be to God.”
