Mwala member of parliament Eng Vincent Musyoka has said that the challenges facing his people made him join Jubilee.
Speaking on Thursday while distributing cheques to foster development in various schools in the sub-county, Musyoka noted that by joining Jubilee his people will benefit from various projects which he couldn’t have managed using funds from the CDF kitty.
Some of these projects include Kayatta irrigation scheme, tarmacking of Kivandini to Tala road, construction of Mwala technical training institute among others.
He observed that a true leader wishes the best for his people by bringing development and that can't be achieved while in opposition.
“My dire need to see Mwala constituency develop drove me to work closely with the government and I won't retaliate even if I'm called a traitor because, in the end, I know my people will benefit,” said Musau.
The legislator is among other ten MPs from Ukambani region who have been criticism getting a lot for defecting to Jubilee.
