Former National Assembly Deputy Speaker Farah Maalim has pledged an all-inclusive leadership as he seeks to unseat Aden Duale for the Garissa Township parliamentary seat in the 2017 polls.
Speaking on Wednesday in Bula Gestow in the constituency, the former Lagdera Member of Parliament further pledged to construct two madrassa classrooms and a water tank for Bula Gestow mosque.
"InshaAllah if elected to be the next Garissa Township Member of Parliament, my leadership will be all inclusive and resources will be shared equally," he said.
"I will also build two madarasa classes and a water tank for Bula Gestow mosque," he added.
Maalim met with local elders and a section of degodia youths who he helped fund their education. Photo caption:
