Former Kibwezi MP Kalembe Ndile has said his life is in danger following numerous attacks.

Kalembe who is seeking his way back to the August House on a Jubilee Party ticket wants the police to provide him adequate security.

Kalembe revealed his fears while addressing journalists at the Mlolongo police station, shortly after recording a statement on the matter.

The Mavoko parliamentary seat aspirant said he was attacked Tuesday morning at his Mlolongo home by unknown people.

"I read mischief in the whole thing. This is the third time I am being targeted," he said.

Last month, a gang of more than 10 attempted to jump over the perimeter wall of his compound, but were subdued by area residents and later arrested by the police.
