Marsabit County Public Service Board secretary Mohammednur Adan has called for quick investigations into an incident in which intruders attempted to access his home. 

The men, who is yet  to be identified, forced his way into the home of the official armed with an AK-47 rifle as per the official on Wednesday although their motives are not yet clear. The officer asked police officers in the area to  swing into action as fast as possible before the worst happens.

“My life and that of my family are in great danger. I am asking the police to investigate this incident and arrest the suspect, “ he said on Friday as quoted by Star.

 Reports indicate that the assailants fled from the home after his guard raised an alarm over the presence at around 8.30 in the home.

 The official has recorded an statement at the area DCI offices where he called for speedy investigations to arrest and prosecute the suspects  in the incident.

 Confirming the incident, County police commander Ben Kogo  said that the police has probing the matter but no one has been arrest in connection with the attack.

 The incident comes after Governor Mohammed Ali said that he will review his government.
