Mwingi Central MP Dr. Gedion Mulyungi has claimed that his life is in danger. According to a local daily, the lawmaker has asserted that six cars have been tracking his movements for several days. He also said that he is not aware of the motive of the persons using the cars.

In the meantime, Former Prime Minister, Raila Amolo Odinga has announced the renaming of NASA. The opposition leaders said that the alliance is officially a resistance movement, which will fight to liberate the nation from what he termed as poor leadership of the Jubilee party. He also said that he will push to ensure another election is conducted within 90 days.

"We will convene and agree on a way to ensure that a fresh free and fair election is organized within 90 days. We call upon our supporters not to vote and to convince their neighbours not to take part in the poll because it is a Jubilee election," he said at Uhuru Park in Nairobi.
