As politicians are aligning themselves for the next polls, Kisi county Deputy Governor Joash Maangi said his name will be on the ballot paper as the Governor or Deputy.
According to the Maangi, he has served well as the county Deputy CEO hence nothing can hinder him from going for the gubernatorial seat.
Addressing the press on Tuesday at Kisii sports Club, Maangi said that come 2017 his name will be on the ballot paper defending his seat or going as the governor.
“As the Deputy governor of this County I have been able to work well as the deputy CEO of the county, I Hope that came 2017 my name will be on the ballot paper as the governor or I will defend my seat,” said Maangi.
Maangi who is that secretary to Omogusii unity team also said he is an active member because he has seen something good in the union.
“As the DG I don’t see nothing bad to be with others to develop our county, the coming together will make us move ahead,” he said.
"I know people are now happy with my move to ensure commissioning the tarmacking of roads and other projects. My name will be on the ballot in the coming election either as governor or deputy," said Maangi.
He also said in a month time, he will announce the lineup and political vehicle he will use in the coming elections.
