Kimani said his office, in partnership with several NGO’s, is finalizing the construction of three boreholes in the area to serve residents with clean drinking water.

“Water problem in the Bahati will be a thing of the past after Hon. Kimani Ngunjiri partnered with an international NGO to drill three new boreholes in the Constituency. Work on one of the borehole started few days ago at the Kagoto Chief's ground and could be completed in just few weeks,” Ngunjiri’s handler Joe Ngugi said.

According to Ngugi, this will ensure the problem of water in the area is contained.

“On completion, the NGO will also lay pipes for 2.5 kilometers as well as provide water kiosks along the line. These water kiosks will make it easier for local residents to fetch water near their homes,” he added.
