Governor Jackson Mandago has expressed optimism that the electorate in Uasin Gishu county will give him a second term in office.
Speaking at the County headquaters in Eldoret town while handing over bursary fund cheques to Members of County Assembly, Mandago criticised his rivals for spreading propaganda against his administration.
He however noted that he doesn't care about the lies his competitors are peddling as 'everybody can see what we have done.
"We are doing the work that we promised to do and I ask that let the voters yardstick of measurent in the coming polls be what we've dome and what we pledged to do," said Mandago.
Critics of Mandago's administration have been accusing him of taking credit of donor funded projects as well as misuse of Sh4.5 billion, claims the governor has rubbished.
"I can account for every cent my administration has received and whenever the senate raised queries on utilization of the cash we have willingly appeared before them," he said.
