Wiper Democratic Movement Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has maintained that he is presidential ambitions are on course.
Speaking in a function over the weekend, the former Vice President noted that he has all it takes to take over the mantle of leadership after ODM Party leader Raila Odinga completes his one term should NASA win the August polls.
“Wiper will be in government and we will work hard for this great nation,” he said.
Kalonzo is set to deputize Mr Odinga one more time under the NASA ticket in next polls, after the pair's loss of their presidential bid in 2013.
The NASA co-principal first gunned for the country's top seat during the 2007 general elections, coming a distant third after Mr Odinga and retired former president Mwai Kibaki who was sworn in controversially for a second term at the time.
Should his dream materialise, Kalonzo could face off with Deputy President William Ruto and Baringo Senator Gideon Moi who have been categorical that they will be vying for Presidency in 2022.
