Garissa Governor Jama Nathif has told off critics and aspirants for the gubernatorial position, saying his development record for the past four years speaks it all.
He therefore, urges the county's electorate to reward him by giving him a second chance because he has proved a performer.
Speaking to the press in his Garissa office on Wednesday, Governor Nathif said his administration had launched and completed over 400 projects in the county despite many challenges that came along the way including but not limited to the many court battles that he has been fighting.
He, however, accused his political detractors for poking holes at his achievements, terming them as mere noisemakers out to seek relevance through propaganda.
But while responding to comments issued by a section of politicians allied to aspirant Ali Bunow Korane during their weekend rally at Masalani, Jama pointed out that his rivals were out to tarnish his name through unfounded accusations of mismanagement of county resources.
Specifically, Garissa Township representative Aden Duale, Senator Haji and gubernatorial aspirant Ali Korane had poked holes on Nathif’s administration describing it as ‘ being riddled with corruption.’
