NASA co-principal and ANC party leader has once again narrated how he was lured into supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto, in the run up to the 2013 general election.

Before falling out, Mudavadi briefly worked with Uhuru, who later dumped him, under unclear circumstances. Mudavadi later went to the presidential ballot alone, coming distance third, after Uhuru, and Raila who were first and second in terms of vote numbers, respectively.

Speaking in Kakamega County, during Nasa rally, Mudavadi said Ruto and Uhuru had accepted that he be on the ballot in 2013, as the president, as they would support him.

According to him, the two were the ones who came up with the partnership deal, only for them to change their minds at the last minute.

"Two visitors came to my home driving. Ruto was the driver, and Uhuru the passenger. After seeing their condition, I told my wife to prepare something for them. She later served them with tea and mandazi, and they ate. We talked and agreed. I was sure we had a deal, only for them to change at the last minute, with Uhuru saying he was visited by 'Madimoni' (Satanic), and that he did not remember having any agreement with me," narrated Mudavadi, Thursday.

He slammed the two leaders, who are seeking re-election, saying there time was up, and that they should start packing and go, for Nasa was taking over.

"We are telling them that their time is up. They have done nothing good for Kenyans, since they took over in 2013. This time, the people of Western Kenya are walking with Nasa to State House," he said, and dismissed claims that Jubilee was gaining popularity in the Luhya land.
