Handicap 35 golfer Nodja Lakhan scored a high 49 stable ford points to emerge the winner of Lawyers golf Day golf tournament played at nine hole Eldoret golf club.
Following her win on Saturday, she moved significantly to handicap 28, seven steps down from the previous playing position.
She started well on first nine with a single par on par three hole 2 followed by five bogies and three double bogies and returned with another four bogies, four bogies and a single triple bogey.
She said she played when she played early and daily practices that kept her on toes.
“I had a good day and my daily practice has finally paid off today. This is my first time to register a win in my career. This will motivate me in my golfing events ahead,” said Nadja.
She managed to win with a big margin against her competitor Sahil Aggarwal with three stable points when he scored 46 stable ford points.
Handicap 13 golfer played well, registering 23 stable ford points in each nine followed by handicap 16 golfer James Komen who recorded 42 stable ford points to complete the podium places.
Handicap 16 player doctor Simiyu Sitati finished 4th overall with 39 stable ford points ahead of 5th placed Pyare Aggarwal on count back.
