Thika United coach James Nandwa has said he will use the international break to sharpen his team.
This is after Thika rose from a 3-2 defeat by Mathare United in the opening weekend to beat defending Champions Tusker in Match Week 2.
According to Nandwa, they will not carry on the celebrations too long and will be working to improve their game ahead of their next match.
“Playing Tusker…was not easy… and even the players knew it, but I am very impressed by the way they approached the game from the first minute to the end,” Nandwa told the club’s official website.
“We hope to keep the momentum going despite the short break, and to emphasize on our weak points in the next two weeks before our next match in Awendo.”
Thika will be taking on Sony Sugar in their next fixture, on Sunday April 2.
