Before the dust settles about fire incidents in school across the county the recent incident at Naikuro PAG mixed secondary School has left many people in shock.
Addressing the media on Wednesday following the fire incident at Naikuro mixed school in Bobasi constituency, Sub-county Director of education George Okero said the fire at the school was as a result of wrangles between teachers
The director said that there has been some wrangles concerning the transfer of teachers and promotions .
"We are not blaming anybody about the incident but there is some information that some teachers wanted to be promoted after former deputy principal was promoted and transferred to another school," he said.
The fire incident which occurred on Wednesday morning comes after some students were arrested on Tuesday for allegedly planning to burn the school but were later released by the police.
The police are said to have released the suspects due to lack of eye witnesses something the has left many with questions.
The school principal Paul chamuchi has nothing to say since they did their part in informing the police who failed to detain the suspects for further investigation.
"We are in shock, as the school we did our part by informing police who arrested the suspect and later released them," he said.
Parents who spoke to the press accused the board of management of saying that they have failed since they have never tabled a report about the cause of the first incident which took place some weeks ago.
