The Nairobi Business Community has sent out an appeal seeking for donations from Kenyans for an upcoming event.
The group, which has set a free circumcision medical camp for all Kenyans, has asked good samaritans to boost the course with surgical tools and consumables for the event.
On a Facebook post on Saturday, Gatundu South Mp Moses Kuria shared the group's poster containing the message of appeal and the group further clarified it has received unprecedented confirmations with the numbers already at 1 million.
The venue of the free medical camp still remains to be Uhuru Park, despite a closure notice message from the County government, and the event is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, January 30th.
However, the group faces a big challenge as National Super Alliance (NASA) has also maintained that its leaders Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka will be sworn-in from the same venue on the same day.
It should however be noted that NASA and the business group have previously been engaged in confrontations during the weekly NASA anti-IEBC demos with each party blaming the other for chaos witnessed.
The venue has also further been booked by a Church for a function on the same day.
