A showdown looms in the city as NASA supporters prepare to hold their protests to eject IEBC officials said to have committed illegalities in the last elections.
NASA leader Raila Odinga directed that the protests which started last week must continue this week until the 'tainted' officials are removed.
But members of the Nairobi Business Community, earlier known as Gema Business Community, have said they will also come out in large numbers to counter NASA supporters.
They accused the opposition for planning to destroy their investments.
Community chairman Wilfred Kamau revealed that they will join forces with Jubilee supporters from Nairobi's neighbouring counties to thwart the protests.
"We will stop at nothing to protect our investments, women and children," Kamau said in Nairobi.
