It is not all rosy for Charity Gethi, the mother of businessman, Ben Gethi who is facing charges over the Sh791 million acquired in the NYS tender scam.

This is after a Nairobi magistrate issued an arrest warrant against her for failing to appear in court on Monday and presenting outdated medical documents.

Charity Gethi, Ben Gethi and nine other suspects linked to the tender scandal at NYS will now take their plea over the graft charges on august 22 before principal magistrate Daniel Ogembo.

The court has also issued another warrant against another NYS suspect, Jedidah Wangari after she also failed to show up in court, with prosecution indicating it is still trying to establish her whereabouts.
