This emerged after the constitutionally required signature threshold was hit.

A total of 65 MCAs want Kidero to be sent home even as sixty signatures were collected for those who wanted Magelo to vacate the county office.

As required by county laws, motion of impeachment can only be moved to the house after the collection of signatures from at least a third of all county MCAs.

However, a City Hall official who sought anonymity said that the governor is never fazed and that the motion will eventually hit a dead end.

“The signatures have been collected but I can assure you that Governor Kidero is not fazed. The motion is going nowhere, it will just hit a dead end,” the official said.

Following the signature collection, the twin motions were drafted but were eventually put off for two weeks due to lack of quorum.
