A recent survey has placed Nairobi the fourth most expensive cities in Africa.
According to the online cost of living calculator Expatistan, the Kenyan capital comes fourth after Zimbabwe's Harare, Port Louis in Mauritius and South Africa's Pretoria.
The survey also identified Nairobi as having the fourth cheapest domestic labour in the world with the lowest purchase price for Volkswagen Golf 1.4 TSI and a pair of basic denim jeans.
Expatistan however found the city to have the most expensive furnished accommodation and that the fast food restaurant combo meals are the most expensive on the continent.
