A Cargo train traveling to Nairobi from Mombasa port ran off the rails and overturned near Donholm in Nairobi.

The accident led to suspension of the Syokimau-CBD train services which has led to hundreds of commuters being stranded on Tuesday morning.

All train services between Mombasa and Nairobi have also been suspended due to the accident.

Engineers are at the site of the accident to clear the damage impacted on the line after the Mombasa train accident.
