The Rift Valley Railways employees in Nairobi have downed their tools over unpaid dues.
The workers went on strike Friday and have paralised part of the city's commuter train services.
According to the Star, the workers are yet to receive salaries for July yet RVR has remained non committal.
The workers also claim that their employer had not been remitting their pension money to their pension fund for over a year.
The boycott strike paralised commuters from Embakassi, Syokimau, Kikuyu and Ruiru lines with the Nairobi–Mombasa Madaraka Express being the only line in operation.
