Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris has warned president Uhuru Kenyatta's govemrent against using its power to harass the opposition politicians and supporters.

Passaris alleges that Uhuru is using state powers and machinery to scare and harras opposition leaders who are questioning his legitimacy as the president.

Speaking to journlists in Nairobi on Monday ,  the ODM Woman Rep alleged that Uhuru wants to silence the opposition which is questioning his legitimacy.

Passaris said that nothing will scare them (NASA) in their push for electroral justice and reforms.

The Nairobi Women's Rep said that the police and top security agencies have been turned into weapons to fight and undermine vocal opposition leaders.

She stated that NASA leaders and supporters have done nothing wrong to warrant state harrassment.

"They killed our innocent supporters, injured many of them and left a trail of destruction now they are after NASA leaders who are questioning their oppression rule," she said.

Passaris indicated  that the fight for reforms is no longer an affair for NASA leaders but for Kenyans who believe in the rule of law.

She said that Kenyans are hurting because of Jubilee's bad governance that allegedly perpetuates police impunity and brutality.

Passaris at the same time condemned the Sunday night arrest of NASA strategist David Ndii.

She said that Ndii's arrest gives them (NASA) the energy to push for electoral justice.

Ndii was allegedly arrested by detectives on Sunday night in Diani.

The NASA strategist was however released on Monday evening on a Sh10,000 police bond.
