Photo: Nairobi WireA Nairobi resident has moved to court in a bid to stop Mombasa governor Hassan Joho from defending his gubernatorial seat. The man, known as Abdallah Juma argues that Joho has no required academic qualifications to vie for the gubernatorial seat, and claims his papers were acquired fraudulently.Sources within the opposition have claimed that Mr Jumasuit was filed by the law firm of Kiharu MP Irungu Kang'ata, thus seen as Jubilee plan to bar Joho. The embattled governor has been on the receiving end since March 27, when the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) rejected the authenticity of Joho's KCSE result slip.
