Naivasha sub-county hospital management is in the process of disposing bodies which haven't been claimed.
Six bodies have been in the morgue for more than three month.
The hospital disposed of 19 bodies last month in a public cemetery. The bodies were unclaimed in the facility for more than four months.
Superintendent in charge of the facility, Dr Joseph Mburu, said the number of unclaimed bodies in the hospital is on the rise.
Dr Mburu said that unclaimed bodies hurts the hospital budget.
"We have seen an increase in the number of unclaimed bodies in our facility, mainly left behind by relatives running away from the high cost of burial," a local paper quoted the management.
