Domestic tourists thronged the town of Naivasha town on Christmas day with their families to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.Even though the hotels in Naivasha were fully booked, the proprietors said that this was a dip compared to previous years.Peter Meta, chairman of the Lake Naivasha Hotel Owners Association, that business this festive season was not as good as last year.''There has been a low turnout compared to last year. Last year was a little better although we are fully-booked,'' Meta said. Meta contended that Naivasha was giving Mombasa a run for its money given its proximity to Nairobi and Nakuru counties.
