A man in Naivasha committed suicide in unclear circumstances.

Those close to the deceased claimed he took away his life after his candidate lost in the just concluded Jubilee primaries in Nakuru.

A source said the man was an ethusiast campaigner to one of the aspirants seeking the Women Rep ticket in Jubilee.

"Since she was defeated, the man was depressed," a source said.

We could not however establish the authenticity of the claims.
