The duo alleged that the Member of Parliament has been interfering with title deeds issuance and has also not fulfilled his promise of ensuring plot owners get their titles fairly.

"Kihagi collected some money from plot owners here over seven years ago promising them title deeds. They are yet to get them and he does not even pick calls when called by the people he collected money from. We elected him on the platform that he will deliver those titles deeds and he has done nothing instead,” claimed MCA Wanyoike.

Waithuke said he will write to National Assembly clerk to have Kihagi removed from the Lands Committee, alleging that the MP has failed the area residents in dealing with land title deed issues.

"Which land problems can he solve if he is a party to the same problems we are crying about? There will be no justice if he continues serving as a member of Lands Committee,” said Waithuke.

The two were speaking on Sunday in Kayole, Naivasha Constituency when they visited the residents.

Efforts made to reach Member of Parliament John Kihagi for his side of the story were futile.
