Emotions run high at Kayole in Naivasha on Friday as family, relatives and friends came together to pay their last respect to Mary Waithera Kamathi.
Waithera, 27, was found dead in her shop in Essen town Germany.
She had a shop where she used to sell Kenyan products while away from work.
Police in the country said she had stab wounds, possibly after an attack.
Speaking during the burial, Nakuru senator Susan Kihika told the German government to bring to book the killers.
"We are demanding of the German government that the culprit behind the killing of our daughter should be brought to book. Mary was a young promising and patriotic lady and her death is a loss not only to the family but to the whole county," said Kihika.
Waithera's family also demanded justice as they hailed their daughter as hardworking and a peaceful sister who was committed to doing good everytime.
