Residents of Karati area, Naivasha sub-county have raised a red flag over the condition of karati bridge.
The residents said the bridge continue to wear out day after day as vehicles continue to pass over it.
"The bridge is in a pathetic condition, anyone can see that it is not long before it collapses," said James Kimari.
"This is a disaster in waiting, locals have tried to make it better but it is clear it construction was a sub-standard. Are we waiting until it causes tragedy or even deaths so that we can repair it?," lamented,Sammy Maina.
"Those using vehicles are finding it hard to use this road, everytime a vehicle passes a part of it falls. It needs immediate repair," said Susan Wairimu.
The residents faulted the local and county government leadership for not taking actions despite having raised the issue.
They said they will be staging a demonstration to the sub-county offices to air their problems.
