A Naivasha retreat has quelled the storm recently witnessed at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).The Supreme Court decision to nullify the presidential vote on September 1 had thrown the commission into disarray.Commissioners went into a blame game over the mess that led to the cancellation.Bad blood emerged between the IEBC chairman and the CEO Ezra Chiloba.Things got out of hand between the two when the chairman threw Chiloba under the bus with an explosive memo. The Naivasha meeting, at the popular Great Rift Lodge, saw Chebukati and his team mend fences. For the first time, Chiloba was captured by cameras all smiles. The commission addressed the media together after a long time and Chebukati could stand with his team wearing smiles. They said they had resolved to shelve their differences and work together under the theme: Together for the nation! They said they are now set to give the nation a free, fair and credible repeat election on October 17.
