Transport was on Wednesday paralysed along Mai Mahiu-Narok road on Wednesday after Standard Gauge Railway workers blocked it protesting poor environment.
According to the Star, over 300 workers from Satellite centre in Mai Mahiu, Naivasha protested saying that they will not return to work unless their transportation issues are addressed.
They alleged that the contractor had been ferrying them for long using open trucks.
They added that as a result, many had chest complications so there was need for buses.
Naivasha sub-county commissioner Isaac Masinde who spoke on the unrest, assured them that their concerns would be addressed.
