Business was halted for some time on Thursday evening along the Nakuru-Naivasha highway after officers from Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission busted traffic police officers taking bribes from motorists.
The drama attracted attention from road users and residents who stopped to have a glance.
EACC officers pounced on the bribe-taking officers at a road block near Naivasha town.
In a video which has been widely shared on social media, the cops are seen being dragged by officers who were on plain clothes.
According to area residents there were more than eight officers from anti-graft authority managed to make arrests despite resistance from the cops.
The EACC officers were heading to Nakuru when they nabbed the traffic police.They were found in possession of Sh2,000 in Sh50 and Sh100 notes.
The operation comes hours after legislators moved to disband EACC over failure to curb graft in the country.
