Former Naivasha MP Francis Wanyange has hit hard on the coalition leaders who have been working against the government.
Wanyange while speaking at Kinamba in Naivasha on Tuesday, said there are leaders from the region elected on the TNA ticket but they have not been supporting the government in its bid to foster development.
“There are people who have gone against President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto yet they are members of Jubilee. When the opposition criticises the government, they never stand up to defend the government,” he said.
He added that such leaders should not be voted back by the people claiming they do not share the ideals of the Jubilee government.
During the event, a youth leader from the area Gitau Kimani said youths are ready to support Jubilee party in 2017.
Kimani said they will help the government in the remaining time to implement the Jubilee manifesto.
“We are ready to support Jubilee party and the government in its implementation of the manifesto it launched during the campaigns in 2013,” he said.
The two leaders also delved on apathy shown by people who have not collected their ID cards and applying for them.
They said that everyone should have an ID card and register as a voter.
