Naivasha's Geoffrey Matheri Njoroge who spent eight years behind bars after being convicted of cannibalism has revealed that he is currently a changed man out to spread the gospel to the world.
This comes barely two weeks after he was released from prison.
Speaking from his hospital bed where he is undergoing treatment after being attacked by the irate villagers, Matheri said that he is going to engage the world by spreding the gospel.
Matheri revealed that his fellow inmates introduced him to the word of God and that he is now a totally changed man who is ready to spread the gospel.
"I had a relatively easy life in prison and fellow inmates guided me through my new-found spiritual life," Matheri was quoted by Nation.
Matheri said that he desires to reach to many people with a view of changing their way of life and that that was why he was going to preach.
"I want to become a full-time preacher and to help people to turn away from evil habits," he added.
The reformed Matheri was quick to ask for forgiveness from the people he had wronged and swore that he was now a totally different and changed person.
