Nakumatt Eldo Centre workers in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu on Tuesday protested over unpaid salaries for the last 6 months.
They accused the management of the retail store for wanting close the branch while their dues are still pending.
The workers have also claimed that their insurance, Sacco dues, and pension have not been remitted to the respective organizations yet they have been cut from their payslips within the period.
"We've not had a good time of late, we've not heard any communication, we are on being listed by the CRB," a worker said.
"We know the branch is going to be closed, we need our dues," another added during an interview.
The management of Nakumatt has however remained silent on this issue.
The store has accumulated unpaid rent of over 21million in a notice given by the landlord.
The retail store which was the leading in the country has been closing several branches in the country major ones including Karen's Artcafe, Kisumu and recently sent out of the Garden City and Taj Mall due to unpaid rent.
