Acting speaker Eunice Wambui directed the house Committee on Trade to ensure that they return it in the next in a fortnight during which they  should have double checked the bill for facts

One of the most controversial clauses in the bill include a proposal that any person found erecting an advertising billboard without a formal permit from the County Government of Nakuru will be risking imprisonment of up to 10 years and or a fine of not less than Ksh. 20 million.

The bill which was tabled by moses Gichangi who is the vice chair of the committee was opposed by the whole house.

Olkaria MCA Peter Palang'a  said that if passed, the bill could be a mockery to the Nakuru County Assembly.

"If the bill is adopted without any amendments, it will not help in attracting investors. The bill is punitive and should not be discussed until the trade committee conducts a very thorough search", Palang'a told the house.
