National Super League (NSL) side Nakuru All Stars striker Musa Ekai has completed his switch to Kenya Premier League outfit Kariobangi Sharks on a long-term contract.
The pacy goal poacher joined the Nairobi based side on Monday and is expected to lead the team's hunt for goals this season following the exit of their talismanic striker Masoud Juma who moved to South Africa.
A statement from Sharks expressed optimism in signing the striker who was very instrumental in the Nakuru based side in the 2017 season.
We are pleased to announce the signing of centre-forward, Musa Ekai from Nakuru AllStars FC on a long-term deal," read the statement.
The striker, on the other hand, expressed his delight at joining the club which finished third in the KPL campaign last season and promised to give his best.
I'm pleased to get this opportunity.I've been training with the team for a couple of weeks and to finally get a contract here is a great step in my career as I have always hoped to play in the top flight football though I never imagined the opportunity could come this early," he said..
"Sharks is a good team, a dream team not only for me but for most upcoming players as it is one of the few teams that young players are given that rare opportunity to prove their worth," he added.
